BROTHERHOOD IN BETRAYAL
A Men’s Healing Retreat for Those Who Have Been Cheated On
JANUARY 22-24, 2027 / FRIDAY - SUNDAY / INN CAHOOTS / AUSTIN, TX
When a man is cheated on, the damage is rarely visible from the outside. What takes the hit is often identity, self-trust, confidence, masculinity, sexuality, and the quiet belief that you understood your own life. And most men carry far too much of that alone.

YOU DIDN'T COME HERE BECAUSE THE BETRAYAL WAS SMALL; YOU CAME BECAUSE IT CHANGED YOU.
Brotherhood in Betrayal is an immersive weekend retreat created specifically for men who have been cheated on and are ready to face what the betrayal actually did to them. Not with platitudes. Not with pressure to forgive or “move on.” This is a weekend built around truth, teaching, experiential work, movement, connection, and brotherhood.
THIS IS NOT A MOTIVATIONAL WEEKEND.
THIS IS REAL WORK, DONE ALONGSIDE MEN WHO UNDERSTAND.
This retreat is led by Sam from Sam’s Healing Podcast, and Adam Nisenson, LMFT, CSAT (The Betrayal Shrink) two clinicians who specialize in masculine betrayal trauma and men’s recovery after infidelity.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF RETREAT IN AUSTIN
Brotherhood in Betrayal will take place at Inn Cahoots on East 6th Street in Austin, TX. A distinctive group hotel and event property designed for people to gather, connect, and spend meaningful time together.
Its condo-style accommodations and shared gathering spaces give us room not only to do the work, but to eat together, talk, decompress, connect, and build the brotherhood that is central to this weekend.
We did not want this retreat to feel like three days in a hotel conference room. We wanted a place where you can step away from normal life, put down some of what you have been carrying, and be around men who understand why you are there.
About
Who This Is For
There is no “right” amount of time since discovery required to attend. You may be early in discovery, a year or two into recovery, or five, seven, or more years removed from the betrayal and still recognize injuries that need attention.
Healing from betrayal does not follow a calendar. You do not have to know whether you are staying in your relationship or leaving it, and you do not need to show up with everything figured out.
This retreat is intentionally designed for men whose partners have betrayed them through infidelity, emotional affairs, sexual betrayal, or significant relational deception.
What Makes Brotherhood In Betrayal Different
Most betrayed men are told some version of: Be strong. Get over it. Forgive. Move on. None of that teaches a man what betrayal can do to his nervous system, identity, ego, sexuality, confidence, and sense of self.
Brotherhood in Betrayal is built around the Masculine Betrayal Trauma Recovery framework. The weekend emphasizes safety before depth, experiential and body-based work, brotherhood as an antidote to shame and isolation, understanding anger, and rebuilding self-trust.
You will not be fixed, analyzed, or rushed. You will be taught, supported, challenged, and given opportunities to reconnect with yourself.
